Friday night kicked off with keynote speaker Victoria Caña (Wizards of the Coast, Riot Games, Cat Quartet Games), a tabletop game designer and video game producer recognized in the 2021 Forbes “30 Under 30.” Victoria discussed her path to a career in the game industry. Saturday’s full day of programming included game design fundamentals, industry insights, and a hands-on game design jam led by Think Like a Game Designer author Justin Gary. Following this learning event, program participants had the opportunity to access online resources, connect with industry professionals, and apply for game design grants.
